New PBS Reality Television Series Coming to Deep Creek Lake
Getting Away Together to feature families and groups on vacation

McHenry, MD - April 15, 2011 - Deep Creek Lake will be a featured destination in a new reality TV show produced by Pine Ridge Television and aired on PBS stations nationwide. Getting Away Together will focus on a travel trend called “togethering” in which a group of family and friends share a vacation rental home. Unlike hotels, a vacation rental allows a family to relax in an intimate setting much like their own home, but at a vacation destination of their choice.

With the Deep Creek Lake area serving as a backdrop, Getting Away Together will feature the real and personal life stories of a family or group of friends. The show is scheduled to debut on PBS stations across the country in October 2011.
